Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Test Automation Engineer with 8-12 years of experience in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python, Robot Framework, test automation strategy, API testing, and CI/CD implementation. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable automation frameworks and improving overall test coverage and quality. The role was identified as Python Tester Robot Framework for the Pune-Shivajinagar hiring drive.

Requirements

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Robot Framework and Python.
  • Create automated test scripts for Web, API, Database, and Backend applications.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Develop reusable automation libraries and test components.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and release activities.
  • Prepare test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics.
  • Mentor junior automation engineers and enforce testing best practices.

Skills Required

Required Skills 8-12 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation. Strong hands-on experience with Python Programming. Extensive experience with Robot Framework. Experience in API testing using PostmanREST Assuredor similar tools. Strong understanding of Selenium WebDriver. Good knowledge of SQL and database testing. Experience with GitJenkinsAzure DevOpsor other CI/CD tools. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong debugging and analytical skills. Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms (AWSAzureor GCP). Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of performance and security testing. Exposure to microservices architecture. Experience with BDD frameworks and test management tools. Educational Qualification Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer ScienceInformation Technologyor related field.
