Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for ETL processes.
Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple sources and target systems.
Perform data reconciliation, data quality checks, and defect tracking.
Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure accurate data migration.
Conduct root cause analysis of data issues and provide corrective actions.
Automate ETL testing processes using tools/frameworks where applicable.
Document test results, maintain test logs, and ensure compliance with QA standards.
Required Skills
Strong experience in ETL testing with tools such as Talend, Informatica, or IBM DataStage.
Proficiency in SQL (complex queries, joins, performance tuning).
Hands-on experience with data warehouses, RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server), and big data platforms (Cloudera, Hadoop, etc.).
Knowledge of data validation techniques, data profiling, and reconciliation methods.
Familiarity with release management processes and version control systems (Git/SVN).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Requirements
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 7-14 years of experience in ETL/Data Testing.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Nice-to-Have
- Experience with automation frameworks for ETL testing.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
