Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in testing web applications, mobile apps (iOS/Android), and browser extensions. This role requires strong analytical skills, a strategic approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in Agile environments while ensuring product quality through rigorous testing practices.
Please note: This role is approximately 70% manual testing and 30% automation scripting — we are looking for a strong manual tester with the ability to contribute to automation, not a dedicated Automation QA.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, designing, and executing test strategies for web, mobile, and browser-based applications
Performing manual testing and contributing to automation testing (Selenium/Appium/Cypress preferred)
Conducting regression, functional, integration, and UAT testing
Collaborating with developers, product managers, and stakeholders in Agile environments
Identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
Ensuring timely delivery of test results and coordinating with cross-functional teams
Providing strategic input on improving QA processes and methodologies
Working independently to analyze issues and propose effective solutions

Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong experience in manual testing (functional, regression, integration, and UAT)
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- Solid experience testing web applications
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray, Zephyr)
- Ability to work independently in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, including working with remote/offshore teams
- Analytical mindset with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Basic scripting ability for automation (any framework — Selenium, Cypress, or Appium)
