Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer with a strong background in data science. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust applications, as well as leveraging data science techniques to analyze and transform data into valuable insights.
1. Application Development

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using .NET technologies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, converting them into technical specifications

Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability by adhering to best practices in software development

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and conduct thorough testing and code reviews

2. Data Integration & API Development

Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate data integration between .NET applications and data science platforms

Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications and support seamless data flow

3. Business Collaboration

Engage with stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to identify data-related requirements and provide data-driven solutions

Present analytical findings and recommendations to business teams to support strategic decision-making

4. Documentation & Continuous Learning

Document application code, algorithms, data pipelines, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing

Stay current with advancements in .NET development and data science, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation

Requirements

  • Education Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience 6–7 years of experience in data engineering or related field
  • Data Science Tools Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Power BI
  • .NET Technologies Experience in ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core (would be a plus)
  • Machine Learning Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis
  • Data Visualization Experience with data visualization techniques
  • Databases Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • ETL & APIs Experience with ETL processes and RESTful API development
  • Soft Skills Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Functional Competency
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and solve complex problems
  • Skilled in troubleshooting application issues and enhancing functionality
  • Capable of conveying technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Efficient in managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team player, able to work with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance
